Leadership Seminole is a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization based in Lake Mary, Florida, dedicated to identifying and preparing future leaders in Seminole County. It provides an immersive 10-month program designed to connect professionals with the key issues, infrastructure, and leaders shaping the local region.
EPIC has been a sponsor and supporter of this program for many years. EPIC’s CEO served on the Leadership Seminole Board as a member and Board Chair. EPIC supports programs such as Leadership Summit, Coffee & Conversation, Lighter Side of Leadership, and Community Leadership Celebration.
The Foundation for Seminole County Public Schools is a non-profit 501(c)(3) with the vision to be the trusted organization that connects our community to empower and impact every student and educator in Seminole County Public Schools. Since 1987, the Foundation has raised over $65 million to support this mission, with 90% of all funds raised going directly to programs.
Over the years, EPIC Engineering has raised and contributed thousands of dollars for the Foundation. These funds provide critical resources like supplies for homeless students, classroom grants for innovative learning, support for our dedicated teachers, college scholarships for deserving graduates, and more.
EPIC’s CEO, Prasad Chittaluru, has served on the Board for six years and volunteered as committee chair for Grants and Scholarships and as a member of the Finance Committee. He has also established an endowed scholarship for a high school student, honoring the memory of his niece Chetana.
Since their humble beginnings in 1944, more than 130,000 children have passed through the Blue Doors of a Central Florida Boys & Girls Club.
EPIC has supported the Boys and Girls Club of Central Florida and has made financial contributions over the years. Through leadership, Seminole and EPIC team members have supported local clubs through special projects.
EPIC has been a long time supporter of STEM education in our community. EPIC’s CEO, Prasad, and his wife, Shri, have coached and mentored dozens of elementary, middle, and high school students in Central Florida. Prasad has been serving as the coach and mentor for FIRST Tech Challenge Team 7477, Super 7, since 2010.
The team qualified for the World Championship seven times so far and is headed to the World Championship in April 2026. Team Super 7 won the Overall Highest Award and the Inspire Award at the 2018 World Championship.
Established in 1986, FEF is a 501(c) 3 not-for-profit entity whose mission is to encourage and assist students in pursuing engineering careers and to educate the public about engineering.
EPIC has established an endowment for an annual scholarship for a Civil Engineering Student from Florida Universities. EPIC team members volunteer their time to serve as judges for evaluating student applications.
EPIC has supported the ASCE East Central branch for nearly two decades. EPIC CEO Prasad has volunteered at the East Central Branch for many years and served as the Branch President as well. He currently serves on the ASCE Education Committee.
EPIC has also supported the ASCE Ice Breaker Event for many years and our team members have volunteered at the event as well.
SMART’s mission is to support airport improvements through best practices research, development, education, training, and certification involving state-of-the-art technology innovations, and prevent costly setbacks for airport owners and governments, due to improper technology implementations that are not sustainable.
EPIC CEO Prasad serves as a Board Member of the organization and contributes to the technology workshops in the areas of airport digital transformation and asset management.
The American Public Works Association (APWA) serves professionals in all aspects of public works as an effective voice of public works throughout North America. With a worldwide membership of more than 30,000.
EPIC supports the APWA Florida chapter as well as the National chapter. EPIC CEO Prasad is currently serving the APWA National Asset Management Committee as a Knowledge Team Member.
Trash 2 Trends is a runway show like no other! Innovative fashion designs are composed from materials destined for the trash or recycling bins. This event brings awareness to how much waste we generate and inspires audience members to be part of the solution.
All proceeds from Trash 2 Trends support Keep Orlando Beautiful Inc. and their mission to educate and empower Orlando to reduce and reuse. EPIC has supported the event over the years, as it aligns with our mission to serve our community and the organizations that serve our community.
